Pricing can vary greatly and is based on the complexity of your photograph and the detail you wish to achieve. The example shown on this page, starts at $450.00 and can run as much as $650.00. If there is a second person, the price will generally be between $650.00 and $950.00. When I see your photograph, I will compose it the way I visualize the finished illustration to appear. Just email your photo(s) and I will give you a firm price that includes your art work being mounted to a heavy weight backing and "Framed" with an attractive double matte. I do this not only to protect your drawing during shipping, but to deliver you a piece of fine art you can display as soon as it arrives.
If you accept my quote, a non-refundable deposit is required (usually 50%) and all major credit cards are accepted.
*Note... final payment is not expected until you are completely satisfied with the final image that I scan and send to you for approval. If you would like to see the progress on your illustration as I work on it, just let me know.
It should be noted, that the quality of my illustration will rely greatly on the quality and clarity of the photo I receive from you. It should be sharply focused and well lighted. A good contrast between light and dark tones also helps. If I can see detail in the eyes, then we probably have a subject I can work with. Send as many photos as you like.... If you have more than 1 photo of the person you want to have illustrated.... I might see something in one I like, that you may not have noticed. Please view my small gallery and decide if my style suits your taste. I tend to simplify or eliminate background "Noise", so when you see my proposed composition, it may not appear exactly as the photo you have sent. |

Choose between 9" x 12" (approximately) or 11" x 14" (approximately). Depending on brand or type of paper used, these are average sizes only. If you need a specific size, please let me know. As I mentioned above, I like to send the art work matted for you which adds about 4" to 5" to paper size. Estimates are free, so to get started, just fill in the information below. Do not forget to attach your photo(s). I prefer you send it as a JPG file (JPEG Bitmap) with at least 150 dpi. Actually 300 dpi is better. |
